About ROCK

Stacks' pet rock.

About $ROCK

If you’ve made it to Stacks, Bitcoin and $ROCK, you are incredibly early.

Adoption is everything, so we encourage our community to engage with other communities and share ROCK.

The @RockCoinSTX account and socials are currently run by a group of owners who saw there was no online presence.

The contract owner/creator has Satoshi’d his way out and left us with Stacks’ pet rock.
*Update: The creator has decided to help the community to take this project further.
Disclosure: They’ve confirmed currently holding ~1% of the supply.

Any deep divers who can go through the contract history and point out any sus stuff from the OG, please do.

This website is currently run by another holder(“Hello!”) who wishes to remain anonymous, although you guys will probably figure it out.

ROCK is a memecoin. This has financial risk and we don’t advise anybody to buy or invest in anything. Nothing on this site is financial advise. Do your own research before investing in any tokens.

Formation of ROCK The Memecoin and The Community

ROCK was launched with liquidity on Stackswap by the Creator (anonymous). They bought a bag and dipped, with the intention of it never going anywhere.

@RockCoinSTX on X(Twitter), referred to here as ROCK team, represents an anonymous group of holders who saw the need for ROCK. They contacted Highroller.btc (@Cryptofronts on X(Twitter)) about making ROCK hard.

The day a discord/website was created, the creator found the discord and began conversing about the future of ROCK and security. He also disclosed he held about 1% of the supply at the time.

With some @Stacks magic and @asignaio, the decision was made that the smartest course of action was to create a multisig between ROCK team and Highroller.btc.

This came after the debacles of other memecoins who were rugged earlier in the cycle. ROCK immediately went hard first principles.

The underlying principle was that the Creator, or just the ROCK team being honest, wasn’t enough.

With a known and active community member, anything in the multisig would remain honest.

So the creator officially handed the Stackswap LP over to the secured multisig, which allows the project to officially be unruggable. They wanted to distance themselves from the project more as well, and routes are open for the creator to come back in future discussions for the benefit of the project!

The creator has mentioned donating to the multisig, like the ROCK team and Highroller.btc. These funds provided the initial 2.5% of supply secured for the community to the multisig.

Since then, the project is focused on being unruggable and getting ROCK hard.

Roadmap & Objectives

Completed

To Do

Partnerships – Once we’re ready with the contracts, methods of engaging the community and reasonably sure we can do it the best way, we’ll notify the community well before we run any polls/acquire any feedback for this.

Airdrops – This is looking more and more likely with our discussions, we’re just working on some more pressing things for $ROCK, and we thing this will likely be along the same timeline, maybe slightly earlier, than partnerships.

Exchange listing – We know exchange listings are half the driving force of adoption. You best bet we know that, and know it very well.

We’re officially on Velar! We’re committed to getting ROCK into the top Stacks Exchanges.

ROCK Community + Roadmap Addendum #1

Introduction

In this Roadmap + latest addendum, we outline our recent acquisition of Stacksrock.btc and our strategies to enhance the ROCK community through distribution, partnerships, and engagement.

Each addendum will be incredibly thought out to make sure it’s following the smartest, fastest and most correct path.

Addendum #1 – Acquisition + distribution = base growth.

Stacksrock.btc Acquisition

We’re excited to announce the acquisition of Stacksrock.btc, which now operates as the multisig wallet with the following address: SM37BZ7SKRTBAM95J54F4QDY83YX63DDFP4M6DTAP.

Objectives

The primary objective of the ROCK Roadmap and Treasury is to facilitate distribution of ROCK to Bitcoin and Stacks members, fostering adoption and decentralization.

Distribution Strategy

We aim to acquire ROCK from the spot market and distribute it to new holders, thus organically increasing the number of holders while ensuring safety and integrity.

Treasury Building

Our efforts have already secured 2.5% of the entire ROCK supply, which has been donated to the multisig address. Community donations are encouraged to further support the initiative.

Distribution Breakdown

Our focus with this roadmap is as follows:

  • Partnerships: 50%
  • Airdrops: 10%
  • Competitions/Giveaways: 40%

Funding Strategy

Funding for our treasury comes from spot market purchases and stx donations, with a strict policy against using original liquidity for anything other than exchange listing and liquidity maintenance.

The treasury is secured in a multisig Stacks wallet, requiring the signature of anon @RockCoinSTX and highroller.btc.

Ensuring Legitimacy

Everything about ROCK has been and will be unruggable and self funded.
We can’t stop whales but we can make sure the core team, socials and growth stays legit.

Engagement and Partnerships

Partnerships, competitions, and giveaways are carefully considered to align with community interests and foster growth.

Partnership Strategy

  • Partnering with projects for strategic giveaways and collaborations to increase holder adoption and awareness.
  • Exploring collaborations with ordinal communities through smart contracts integration.
  • More tentative discussion on an NFT collection, but for now EXPECT NOTHING.

Competition and Giveaway Criteria

  • Decision-making for competitions and giveaways prioritizes social engagement, organic attention, and fairness.
  • Measures are being explored to ensure transparent and unbiased winner selection.

Airdrop Policy

We follow community precedents for airdrops, prioritizing actions that enhance adoption and trust. Our goal is to go above and beyond here.

Continuous Improvement

This roadmap is subject to updates and additions as the community evolves, with a commitment to ongoing development and support.

Conclusion

Our goal is to expand the ROCK network, bolster our team, and provide robust support for the community, driving the project forward within the Stacks ecosystem.
